I’m Heidi Parkes, 15th Artist in Residence for The Pfister Hotel, Jan 2024 - end of Jan 2025

FAQS:

  • I have moved my home studio to a public studio, where I do all my usual work as a full-time artist. Please consider that this is not a shop or an art gallery, but instead this a focused workspace that you get to observe.

  • You’re likely to find me:

    • 20% sewing

    • 40% in meetings and teaching

    • 40% working on the computer

  • If you visit, you’re very welcome to look at my quilts, and if I’m not in a meeting, I can pause for about 5-min to chat before retuning to my computer work. (If we’re both in luck and if you find me sewing, stay and chat a little longer! This is typically in the evening)

  • Yes! My art is for sale. Quilts can be purchased online in my shop, and small works and $13 rabbit scissors can be purchased with cash or credit on the spot.

  • Details on availability and scheduling time with me are below. 💙

Come visit!

  • You can always see the studio and my quilts through the large windows! (1st floor, between the Lobby and Mason Street Grill)

  • You might find me working! I’m here 30-50 hours a week, so your odds are good.

  • You're most likely to spot me in the afternoons and evenings, 2pm-11pm. (Mon & Tues are extra-likely)

Schedule time with me:

  • Book a one-on-one consultation with me online or in the studio, $250 per hour (This longstanding, pre-residency offering can also apply to arranging time for you and your small group to talk with me, see quilts, and intentionally enjoy time together in the studio)

  • Book a trunk show, lecture, or multi-person event with me in the studio, $500, email to schedule, HeidiParkesInfo@gmail.com

  • Book a 6-hour workshop with me in the studio for your small group, $1,000, email to schedule, HeidiParkesInfo@gmail.com
