Winter 36 Times
Materials: Bedsheets, tablecloth, hand-knit wool, mixed textiles, and cotton thread
Year Completed: 2017
Dimensions: 59 X 57”
This quilt was inspired by a combination of traditional Baltimore Album quilts and Andy Warhol's painting Ethel Scull 36 Times. It celebrates my love of winter in 36 blocks. The quilt is entirely hand pieced with pearl cotton and crochet thread, and it employs the running and whip stitch.
