FAL Prompts for sharing your progress with #HPFAL:
- Let’s share on Mondays and Fridays, or whenever you can!
- Friday 3/1: Intention, share your plan, what you hope to finish, and how you plan to stay committed (with a co-working session, an accountability buddy, or another creative approach)
- Monday 3/4: Baby steps, celebrate a small step forward in your sewing
- Friday 3/8: The spark, remind us when and why you started this quilt
- Monday 3/11: A challenge, new or perhaps the reason why you lost steam at some point. Perhaps we can collectively comment on posts today to problem solve, cheer, and empathize ❤
- Friday 3/15: Technique, share something new that you can do thanks to this quilt/class/pattern
- Monday 3/18: Creative voice, can you see your unique stamp on your work? How is your piece uniquely you even though it’s made in a class or with a pattern?
- Friday 3/22: Letting go, you might have multiple unfinished quilts, as you take stock of your progress and goals, are there any works in progress that would feel best to let go of? Can the fabric go back into the scrap bin? How do you part with a project that you no-longer want to give energy to?
- Monday 3/25: A surprise, if you’ve stayed curious throughout, there should be lots of surprises to share! Does staying curious help you in your work?
- Friday 3/29 Beauty, we’re close to the end of the FAL, share a gorgeous detail shot, or take your quilt outside into some sunlight!
- Monday 4/1: Celebrate, we might not be finished, or maybe we are! What progress can you celebrate? In addition to sewing progress, let’s celebrate skills & community too.
